I had a super-long posting about what I accomplished in 2008 and what I was going to in 2009 along with philosophical musings on the nature of time and stuff like that. Then Bravenet ate it. So, here's the digest version.
2008--went too fast, hardly got used to the idea of it being here. Must be getting old.
Accomplishments
- Published a lot of books including some of mine, some returning authors and a number of new authors. Increased paperback efforts as well as adding new eBook formats (ePub and Sony Reader)
- Wrote 4 books: Digging for Dragons, Ace of Werewolves, The Billionaire's Princess Plan, and Whipped Fraternity. Ace, Billionaire and Whipped all need rewrites. Rewrote Midlife Murder, Going Postal, Digging, and Her Frog Familiar.
- Resolved--will write 4 more books in 2009
- Became a certified Bridge Club Director and got a job directing. Taught a couple of dozen students bridge. Earned about 100 master points (but not quite 5 of the precious gold points)
- Didn't blog as regularly--will try to be better in 2009.
- After 25 years in Texas, decided to move to California this year.
- Investigated new advertising programs for BFAB as well as new distribution outlets.
- Hit my 11th wedding anniversary. This is pretty good for me but only a start, I hope.
I hope that 2009 will be a wonderful year for all--with lots of writing, reading, and great health.
