It took longer than I'd hoped, but the payoff is a great book. A Full English Problem by Anthony Perham is finally published. In this, the third book in Perham's English Police Detective series, Sean Crow and Malcolm McKarn are now bounty hunters. They're planning on giving up that dangerous career when they get an offer they can't refuse--head to America to search for Jeremy Chew, the man who got away from Crow's last big case as a police Inspector. The case gets complicated in a hurry, though, when Chew's insane son, ex-SAS soldier Peter Cantrell, manages a bloody escape and decides he needs to visit his father as well. Perham's mix of humor and action is always deft and the banter between Crow and McKarn kept me laughing--even as horrible things are happening.
For it's first month of availability, A FULL ENGLISH PROBLEM, regularly priced at only $3.99, will be available for the super-low introductory price of only $1.
I mentioned the beautiful cover that Karen put together for this book--here it is:

In a fit of ambition, I also figured out my NaNoWriMo book. I don't have a title yet, but it's a young adult fantasy. I'll fill you in with details as I discover them.
I'm still reading 1634: THE BAVARIAN CRISIS. Slow going so far, I'm afraid. This series started out wonderfully with the powerful 1632 and has gone downhill since. If this book doesn't pick up, it might be time for me to stop reading the series. I'll keep you posted.
I'm going to make A FULL ENGLISH PROBLEM the www.BooksForABuck.com book of the day. Sean Crow and Malcolm McKarn put themselves in harms way--in England, France (much hated France), and America. Meanwhile, we get a much more detailed look at the world from the crooks' point of view. This entire eNovel is only $1.
