Therese and I spent the day playing bridge in a Dallas Sectional tournament. We had two sessions, both over 50% (54% and 59%) and scored .4 points and .9 points for the two. There were some exceptional players who scored even better. I don't think I've been to a tournament before where we scored points in every session we played (except maybe the Nationals where we only played in one event), so this is a good sign. Maybe it's also a good sign that we recognized our mistakes. When we first started playing, everything was a mystery.
I was able to get my pages written today. I'd hoped I'd be able to get some extras done and took my Jornada along, but it didn't happen. At the last minute, I decided to driver rather than take the train (I was worried I might miss the last train).
I'm looking forward to a peaceful weekend of writing, polishing my manuscripts, and getting started on the next book that we'll be publishing--an excitng fantasy novel.
